About Vessna
Vessna Quartson is a health professional who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing, Social Work and Sociology from the University of Ghana.
Public health and hospital leadership
From 2004 to 2013, Vessna was in charge of the Public Health Unit at Airport Clinic. She later served as a matron at New Ningo Community Hospital from 2013 to 2017.
Case management and social health work
From 2021 to 2022, she worked as a contracted case manager with Hope For Future Generation (HFFG). She subsequently worked as a social health worker at Kinder Paradise from 2023 to 2024.
Vessna currently works at Don Bosco Boys' Home in Sunyani. At Leading Vision, her experience in public health, hospital care, case management and social support strengthens the Health & Nutrition Programme and its focus on vulnerable children and communities.
